Description

We are looking for a great person for our English language customer support team.
Someone with good communication skills, who has experience in a business setting, and who brings a positive influence to their surroundings. Must be able to cooperate with people of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds in a professional work setting.

Duties include:
Responding to customer's inquiries
Coordinating with the various language version managers
Supervising operators

Necessary qualifications:
Fluent English language level
Fluent Japanese language level (日本語能力試験2級以上)

Bonus qualifications:
Experience working with small to medium sized companies
Experience with e-commerce businesses

We started ZenMarket in 2014. Our main business is providing a "proxy shopping service.” Japanese goods are popular all over the world, yet Japanese online stores do not readily provide overseas shipping and support. There are many desirable goods from Japan that are unavailable to those outside the country. We have situated ourselves as a bridge between overseas consumers and Japanese online stores. We purchase goods in Japan on behalf of overseas shoppers, and ship the goods to wherever they may be around the world.

The fact that many of Japan's online shopping sites do not provide international shipping, and because of the differences in languages, many people around the world can not easily purchase Japanese products that they want. There is also a demand from Japanese people living abroad to buy products from Japan that are not available locally wherever they are.

Our goal is to respond to these needs and provide a place where customers around the world can smoothly purchase Japanese goods online.
