Description

Hypertherm Geographical Sales Manager's sell, promote, and support Hypertherm plasma systems, controllers, consumables, parts, laser and software through the establishment, recruitment, training, and development of a network of independent distributors, System Integrators and OEMs to maximize Hypertherm market share in the designated area.

STRATEGY: Develop and execute an area tactical plan. Setting sales targets, conduct quarterly review against sales goals per product line. Implement & revise strategy where necessary. Participate in the development of new channel partners to maximize market penetration.

SELLING: Develop a basic business plan with key channel partners to achieve sales objectives and attain continuous market share growth. Maintain and support existing channel partners activities. These include assess, develop & fulfill training needs; quarterly sales review; execute marketing program and end-user engagement initiatives.

MARKETING AND PROMOTION: Implements, monitors, and reports the results of new product launches. Make promotional programs available to channel partners and end users.

CHANNEL PARTNER TRAINING: Plans and supports training of channel partners’ competencies to promote, sell & service Hypertherm products, features, and benefits. Document training levels of channel partners personnel (sales and technical) into CRM database.

MARKET INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION AND REPORTING: Maintain updated information and reports in customer relations management database (SalesLogix) to include relevant data for channel partners, end-users and installed base. Gather competitive product information (e.g. capabilities, pricing, sales strategies) and share with sales team members and the respective business team in order to update competitive sales tools and strengthen Distinctive Value Proposition (DVP).

Education/Experience:
Degree education and min. 3 years of industry sales experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven selling records
Team player
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel 50%-70 % of the total time
Independent, self-motivated

Preferred Experience/ KSAs: Sales Logix, MS Office, Local languages

Regional Requirements: Japan, within reasonable proximity to the airport.
