Description

Job Description

• Responsible for leading all Inventory Engineers in all datacenters
• Ultimately responsible for all hardware tracking and reconciliation in all datacenters
• Constructs forecasting procedures to fulfill daily/weekly/monthly sales requirements
• Assigns individual tasks for Inventory engineers based on current priority
• Creates, maintains, assesses, and augments standing procedures
• Determines and enforces project deadlines
• Constructs requirements for reporting/evaluation tools and presents to development
• Drives vendor purchasing relationships to reduce purchasing costs
• Evaluates written documentation for accuracy
• Prepares and presents weekly status reports to management
• Holds weekly meetings with team members
• Works in tandem with Sales and Operations to ensure delivery of specialized products
• Coordinates hardware deliveries with Sales and manages customer expectations
• Follows the performance review schedule for direct reports as set forth by the Human Resources department
• Praises, reprimands, and documents performance of Inventory Engineers
• Evaluates and Interviews prospective new hires

Required Experience

• Tertiary certification or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain with 4 to 5 years of related working experience
• Team leadership experience to at least 3 to 5 Engineers across APAC is a plus
• Focused work ethic in a team environment
• Ability and willingness to accept and complete task with a painstaking attention to detail
• Demonstrated multi-tasking ability and effective organizational skills in order to meet short deadlines with finite resources
