We are an international school that aims to make English fun and playful. We employ many Japanese nursery teachers, and aim to provide an education that develops students' English and Japanese skills concurrently, using activities tailored to the age group.
Responsibilities:
We use a combination of foreign instructor + English language nursery teacher for team teaching. Each graduating class has its own homeroom teacher. We use a nursery school environment to combine Japanese education and English language acquisition, so that our students may learn in a natural way.
As a homeroom teacher, you will have a fulfilling job including:
● Nursery school education
● Dealing with students guardians
● Preparing lessons and activities
● Generally contributing to the students' growth
Students are at school from ages two to six. After graduation we provide after-school/Saturday school classes, using English to foster the children's growth.
Work days/hours:
- Monday through Saturday (Sundays and holidays off)
- 6.75 hours per day (From Monday to Friday) between 11:00am~6:30pm
- 3 hours Saturday between 9:00am〜12:00pm
* Saturdays off during the summer holidays, the New year and spring holidays
Days off/vacation:
Sunday, Holidays, 4 days during the summer, 5 days around the New Year, 3 days in Spring, Paid Holidays.
Benefits and compensation:
Raises in salary (in accordance with the school's performance), complete social insurance.
Transportation fee will be covered up to 35,000Yen.
Our ideal candidate:
Is enthusiastic about teaching English to children at an international school. Will actively participate in Sports Day, Presentation Day, and outdoor play and activities with students.
Students: 60 to 70 students (ages two to six), 30 to 40 students (ages seven to twelve)
We can also provide visa sponsorship, as necessary.
