Shop Airline's mission is to connect the world and make it smaller through the Internet and through e-commerce.

Users can conveniently and securely bid and buy eBay items from our Sekaimon site (sekaimon.com) as we handle all eBay seller-side transactions and conduct extensive inspection of all purchased items in our warehouses located in Los Angeles, London, Düsseldorf and Amsterdam prior to shipping to Japan.

We - Shop Airlines, Ltd have been an eBay allied partner from 2007 and have since sold more than 2.5 million eBay items in our site.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will join our Development Team as Web Engineers. We are willing to accept people who have no prior development experience but do possess critical and logical thinking and have an inclination to problem solving. We are also willing to accept applicants with only basic or conversational Japanese skills. We are looking for candidates who are fast learners, team players and driven to become great programmers.

This position is a fantastic opportunity to gain skills as a Software Developer or Programmer.

Contract and part time positions are available.

Working hours is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 18:00.
We are only accepting applicants who are currently residing in Japan and have a valid visa to work.


Responsibilities
・ Design, develop, implement and troubleshoot web-based applications that support the day-to-day operations of the cross-border, e-commerce service, Sekaimon.
・ Deliver a wide range of functional enhancements and performance improvements to existing applications as well as create new ones.
・ Conduct bug fixes.
・ Applicants with no prior development experience are expected to learn quickly on the job while working closely with a senior member of the team.
