Description

Oaks International is a boutique recruitment and career advisory firm focusing on the finance industry (Asset Management Companies, Investment Banks, Commercial Banks, Insurance Companies, etc.). We are located in Ginza (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and have a long and trusted 24+ year history.

Currently, we are looking for an Assistant Recruitment Consultant who is interested in assisting a Senior Consultant with recruitment / career consulting activities and who has a strong desire in developing a career in the recruitment area. We welcome candidates who have no prior experience in the recruitment industry.

While our company size is small, we are very competitive in the finance area recruitment market and deal with mostly global financial institutions. Also, we are planning to expand. You will have an opportunity to be trained by a very experienced senior consultant (28 years’ experience and Japan’s first commendation receiver from the Minister within the recruitment industry.)

Your responsibilities include:
-Search and contact potential/existing candidates mainly through web or email, based on the clients’ needs and arrange meetings with those who show interest in the opportunities.
-Interview or assist with interviewing candidates, evaluate their experience and English skills, and write detailed and accurate interview reports
-Arrange interview schedule for clients and candidates.
-Edit / Proofread English Resumes / CVs
-Answering incoming phones and welcoming guests.
-Perform various duties to assist the Senior Consultants

If willing to be a consultant, the following duties will be added immediately or after a certain period depending on your experiences and skills.
-Contact prospective companies and develop relationships with new clients
-Maintain and build solid relationships with existing clients through regular communication
-Manage entire hiring process from analyzing JDs, referring candidates to clients, following up on interviews and offer process

Requirements:
-2+ years working experience in Japan, either responsibilities within a corporation OR teaching business English. New graduates can be considered.
-Must be a detail-oriented and ethical team player
-Willing to learn and follow Japanese business manners and business practices
-Willing to study finance terminology.
-Developed communication & interpersonal skills required
-Native level English skills OR Native level Japanese skills are must. (Native level either in English OR Japanese) If your English skills are at native level, Japanese skills are plus, but not a requirement. If your Japanese skills are at native level, your English can be at basic level.
-Must have valid visa / permission to work in Japan
-Planning to work in Japan for more than 5 years.

Working Conditions
-Working hours: Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30pm (1 hour lunch time)+ overtime
-Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, Year End / New Year holidays
-Compensation: Monthly salary + variable bonuses

 シニアコンサルタントと候補者の面談アレンジ
 (英語ネイティブレベルの方は)候補者の英語チェック、英文レジュメチェック
 面談記録作成
 企業と候補者の面接アレンジ
 電話応対、来客応対
 その他、コンサルタントのサポート全般

コンサルタント志望の方は、以下の職務が加わります。(経験・スキルにより、即日または一定期間後)
 新規企業開拓及び既存顧客とのリレーションシップマネジメント
 求人企業と求人に関する打ち合わせ
 企業への候補者の紹介
 企業と候補者の面接アレンジ
 面接結果に基づく候補者と企業のフォローアップ

応募要件
 2年以上の社会人経験が望ましいが、新卒も可
 倫理観・法令順守意識・正確性・協調性が高い事
 金融知識を自ら勉強する意欲を所持している事
 英語、日本語いずれかが母国語レベルである事

処遇
勤務時間:10:00~18:30
休暇:土日祝日、年末年始休暇
給与:月次給与+変動ボーナス
