Description

T-Mark Inc. is an interactive agency based in Musashino, Tokyo. We are looking for an entry level to mid level web developer to join the team who wants to work on a variety of projects and is willing to learn. Our clients are large multinational and Japan based companies requiring development services in English, Japanese and Chinese, so you would be working in a multicultural environment. If you are willing to learn and develop your skills, we are happy to provide training and support to help you succeed.

Responsibilities include:

- Build websites using various technologies (flat HTML, Wordpress, or Laravel, depending on your experience level and background.)
- Develop landing pages and websites
- Work with technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript to make web pages, websites, and web applications
- Will need to talk directly with clients sometimes
- Will need to prepare HTML and CSS for E-mail based mailouts, including checking in various email clients

Required experience and character attributes:

- At least some experience in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Good at communicating, enjoys working with other people
- A passion for technology and learning
- Ability to work in a fast moving environment with difficult deadlines
- Patience and a willingness to do tasks that are are considered less interesting

Desirable skills:

- Wordpress experience strongly desirable
- Familiarity with the LAMP stack
- Experience in at least one MVC framework, preferably Laravel or Django
- jQuery and/or a frontend framework like React or Angular.
- Git
