KINDERGARTEN/CONVERSATION TEACHERS to work with young children ages 3-6, in a full-time bilingual English Immersion kindergarten, and elementary students in weekly English Conversation classes.

Daily responsibilities require lesson planning to implement the English curricula, and active and energetic participation in all student interactions with enthusiastic attitude toward hands-on experiences with the children.

Hands-on experiences include weekly cooking classes with kindergarten children, birthday skits, summer events such as body painting and mud play, soccer and other outdoor activities. Teachers must display a genuine interest in playing and communicating with the children, overcoming language barriers through play.

A strong ability and desire to explain difficult concepts in easy-to-understand terms is a must. The successful candidate will love to have fun, have an instinct for teaching creatively and developing relationships with young children, and have a strong dedication to growing professionally in multiple facets of teaching.

Experience teaching and working with young children will be a distinct advantage. Only a committed team-player will succeed in this position. Only NATIVE speakers will be considered.

- Will renew visa as needed.
- Accommodation secured by school, rent responsibility of employee, 58,000 yen per month.
- Apartment partially furnished (major appliances, bedding).
- Health insurance (subsidized 50% by the school) and personal use of the school car is available for properly licensed drivers for a fee. Contracted position through end March, 2017. Renewable contract.
