Laurus International School of Science requires enthusiastic and experienced Primary and Secondary (Middle) School teachers for the positions of Homeroom and Subject area Teachers. Candidates must be native English speakers with backgrounds in international school education. Applicants should have a B.A / B.Sc or higher as well as teaching certification with the appropriate credential in primary school teaching. Preference will be given to teachers currently in Japan with more than three years experience. Japanese language ability is not a requirement.

Based on the learning milestones & objectives of the Cambridge Curriculum, Laurus International School of Science is the first and only STEM school in Japan. Besides our strong focus on developing traditional core competencies, we embrace the latest technologies & teaching methods and prepare children for the world of tomorrow. With a strong focus on science at all levels, we are passionate about developing inquisitive minds. Students are involved in inquiry-based learning throughout. We are looking for innovative and dedicated professional teachers, capable of using English as the medium of teaching, that would like to work, play, challenge, and learn with our children. We offer our students a multicultural learning environment and a full immersion English language program.

As a Laurus teacher you would be working within a dynamic team, educating a class of international and internationally minded students in Tokyo. We teach a comprehensive Cambridge curriculum tailored to our students' needs.

POSITION DETAILS

Salary:

350,000 - 400,000 yen per month (Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)
Working Hours:
-Monday to Friday
-8:30 to 17:30 with a one-hour break
-40 hours per week
