Requirements

  • English: Native level
  • Japanese: Conversational
  • Must currently reside in Japan
  • Must be living in Japan w/ valid visa permitting work (sorry, we cannot accept Tourist visas)
  • Must have prior ALT experience (either elementary or junior high level, minimum of one year)
  • Must be able to drive in Japan (hold a valid Japanese or International driver's license)
  • Visa sponsorship available

Description

Are you interested in working as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) but with increased flexibility and opportunity? Then our Reserve Educator position is perfect for you! Be an on-call teacher in select areas where you get to visit different schools and meet new people! Gain classroom experience with a unique approach that gives you more freedom and variety during the week! It's a new adventure all the time as a Reserve Educator!

Please note this position will require prior experience of at least one (1) year at public elementary and/or junior high schools in Japan.
Additionally, candidates should be outgoing, proactive and flexible working with a variety of school schedules.

The ability to drive a car in Japan is a must for this position. Candidates should have either an International or Japanese driver's license. License holders who do not own a vehicle can lease a company car from us.

Between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
