Description

Situated in the vibrant Omotesando neighborhood, Marie InternationalSchool Preschool/Kindergarten provides distinguished daycare, highest quality early education, and professional services for young children.

Due to the increase in the number of students, we are looking for an additional kindergarten teacher to join our team.

MIS was founded in 2020, and although we are a young school, we are blessed with a dedicated, supportive, energetic staff who really want to make a difference in early childhood education. With their help, MIS is under fast growth. Every space and every aspect of our program is focused on teaching and learning and on building close connections with a gifted faculty. We value each one of the teachers individually just as we care for each student within MIS family. Our goal is to provide a positive, modern and enjoyable environment for teachers to work, and right now we are seeking energetic, capable individuals who share the same vision, to join our team.

Position Details:

Marie International School Kindergarten has a uniquely-tailored curriculum for children to enjoy English by taking part in different activities such as phonics, arts and craft, exercise, role play and more. Regular working hours are 9:00~18:00, five days a week (Monday through Friday). Part-time is also available.

We take pride in our flexible system which allows teachers opportunities to personalize their teaching by applying original lesson ideas and teaching styles.

We seek energetic and flexible teachers, capable of the following:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging classes
– Have good classroom management skills, providing a safe and fun learning environment
– Expand upon the school’s curriculum with original ideas and activities
– Assess, record, and report students’ progress
– Participate actively in communication with parents
– Carry out other related activities and responsibilities
– Plan events (e.g. Sports day, Summer School, Halloween Party)
– Teach after-school programs in the Primary School

Requirements:
-MUST have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Kindergarten
-MUST be native level in English, conversation level or higher in Japanese
-MUST be located in the Tokyo area
-Better to have: Teaching Certification or License

-Starting monthly salary of ¥240,000 - 270,000 (negotiable)
