Description
JHS/SHS in Tokyo is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Maths and/or Science teachers starting in the 2023 academic year (April).

Contract period: April 1 2023 - March 31 2024 (2 week probation period)
Monthly Salary: 300,000yen -380,000yen/month (before tax) + transportation
*Depending academic background and relevant teaching experience
Working days: 5 days/week + some holiday work
Working hours: 8:15-17:15
Insurance: Social insurance plan and employment insurance
<Work Duties>
* Preparing and teaching up to 20 lessons a week
* Material and curriculum development
* Attending meetings, teacher training, school events, and open campus days
* Instructing students and judging at speech contests
* Homeroom teacher
* Making and marking exams, and assessment
* Accompanying school excursions
<Qualification Requirements>
* Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
* Major in math or science related subject strongly preferred
* Teacher's license (maths or science) in your home country is preferable
* Capable of making and implementing effective and interesting lessons
* Dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic teacher who is interested in secondary school education
* Have excellent class management skills
* Must currently reside in Japan and have a proper visa
