Description: RISE Japan school provides English programs for children aged between 2 and 10.
With our mix of both native English speakers and bilingual Japanese staff, we aim to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for students, while encouraging them to speak, listen, and interact in English.

Qualifications
・Education: Bachelor’s Degree (required) in education (preferred).
・Experience working at kindergarten or pre-school.
・Teacher's license for kindergarten and/or TESOL certificate highly desirable.
・Teacher's license for nursery school, kindergarten or elementary school. Any child care license.

Description:
RISE Japan school is currently looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and creative teachers to join our team for the teaching year 2020/21, in Daikanyama, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
The position involves teaching preschool age children, lesson planning, school event preparation, attending and presenting at staff meetings, and creating correspondence with parents such as monthly newsletters and progress reports.
Class sizes are approximately 5-10 children per class, ranging from 2-3 years old. Full support is provided by a Japanese teacher’s assistant.

All applicants must currently live in Japan and have previous experience working with young children. The ideal candidate will also be able to understand some spoken Japanese, have basic First Aid knowledge and must thrive at working in a fast and dynamic teaching environment.

Role:
・Use assessment tools, enforce rules and communicate effectively with young children and their parents.
・Plan activities, projects, games and group activities that will encourage students to learn the material and interact in English.
・Develop a strategy and schedule for daily lessons.
・Carry out the traditional duties of teachers, including planning lessons and evaluating student performance.
・Find ways to make lessons engaging and ensure that each student is keeping up with the material.

Requirements:
English Native Speaker, Experience teaching young children, Able to work from April 1st 2020. Must plan on being in Tokyo for at least two years. Applicant must live in Tokyo or close surrounding areas, and have a valid work visa.

Pay Benefits:
Starts from 250,000yen to 300,000yen
Final offer depends on the employee's teaching experience.

Holiday:
Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, School holidays (Golden Week, Summer Holidays, Winter Holidays)
