Description

Institution: KYOSHIN CO.,LTD.

Kyoshin are looking for Accounting / Economics/ Management / Business Law teacher who can teach in a preparatory course for university entry to UNSW, ranked 43rd in the QS world university rankings. We, a company called Kyoshin, are offering this program in Kyoto on behalf of UNSW. The entry requirement for student is IELTS 6.0.

Subjects requiring teachers: Accounting / Economics / Management / Business Law
Curriculum and materials: Prepared by UNSW Global
Course duration: 9 months
Course start dates: Twice a year in February and October

●Hourly wage: 5,000-10,000 yen (Depends on experience and educational background)
●Work days: 1-3 days per week (Excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
●One-year contract, basically renewable by mutual consent
●Insurance: None
●Transportation allowance: Yes
●Work Location: Shijo, Kyoto

【Accounting Teacher】
Term 1 (Feb-Jun) 3.5 hours per week
Term 2 (Jul-Nov) No class

【Economics Teacher】
Term 1 (Feb-Jun) 5 hours per week
Term 2 (Jul-Nov) 3.5 hours per week

【Management Teacher】
Term 1 (Feb-Jun) No class
Term 2 (Jul-Nov) 3.5 hours per week

【Business Law Teacher】
Term 1 (Feb-Jun) No class
Term 2 (Jul-Nov) 3.5 hours per week

Qualifications:
●a minimum three-year undergraduate degree relevant to the course being taught;
●hold a Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Education, Diploma of Education Studies, or a two-year Teaching Certificate; OR have at least TWO years of teaching experience in the field of Accounting/Economics/Management in a High School, College or University, including breadth of experience in delivering to students from non-English speaking backgrounds.
●Currently reside in the Kansai area and have a visa that allows to work in Japan.

Since teachers must deliver their programs in English, they must demonstrate to the provider and UNSW Global a level of "Native English proficiency".

We will consider:
●whether the teacher has a recognized degree completed in English and how long ago this was completed;
●any experience teaching in English (at least two years' experience teaching in English is desirable);
●whether the teacher has lived and worked in a country where English is the primary language; and
●whether the teacher has an official language level equivalent to IELTS 7.5 or above.
