URGENT: NOVA Holdings Co.Ltd. is looking for an Assistant Language Teachers to teach English in junior high schools in Adachi Ward, Tokyo from September 2024 to March 2025. We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player who has a passion in teaching English and is professional in all aspects of behavior, as well as flexible, cheerful, and energetic.
≪Duties≫
・Be able to team teach and solo teach English lessons to classes ranging from 25 to 40 students.
・Assist Japanese English teachers with constructing lesson plans and building curriculum.
・Participate in outside of class activities (Other subjects, Clubs, Sports Day, Culture Festival, etc.
・Coach and help students to prepare for speech contest.
・Build relationships with students, faculty and the surrounding community.
≪Requirements≫
・Valid residence/visa status
**(Tourist, Student or Designated Activities Visas are not accepted)
・Professional attitude, team-player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic
・Punctual and Time diligent.
・Ability to communicate with Japanese teachers, students, and company representatives in a
professional manner.
・ Be able to live in Tokyo or a prefecture adjacent to Adachi Ward.
(Outside applicants can still apply but must be able to move before the contract start date.)
*TESOL/TEFL or other teaching qualifications preferred
≪Remuneration≫
・12,500 yen per working day
・Transportation expenses up to 1,200 yen per working day
・Regular working hours per day are from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. including 60min break
≪Contract type:≫
・Junior High school
4 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri)
・Days off correspond to the school calendar
・Contract term is from September 1st, 2024 to March 31st, 2025; Lessons start from September 3rd
