Our GaijinPot Student Placement Program is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented part-time coordinator to help our Study team support international students.
GaijinPot Student Placement Program
Our placement program supports foreigners to come to Japan to study Japanese. Our coordinators help them to choose the right school, simplify the visa process and are here to answer all questions related to finding housing, getting a part-time job and life in Japan.
Working closely with schools and knowing immigration guidelines, we’re fully competent to help students reach their goals.
SALARY
¥ 2,000/ Hour
Shift schedule to be determined (between 15-20 hours a week)
Full transportation coverage
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous office experience preferred
- English: Business level
- Japanese: Conversational
- Must currently reside in Japan
Description of the duties
To support our Student Coordinators with their daily tasks: application screening, sorting out documents, translation, answering questions (email, phone), assisting school admission teams, supporting currently enrolled students and moderating our dedicated Facebook group.
Communication is mainly in English, however, Japanese skills may be required to communicate with clients and staff. Good knowledge of other foreign languages would be a plus: Spanish, Swedish, Italian…
