Description
Language school with several branches throughout central Tokyo is looking for a native English speaker to join its teaching team from April or May, depending on the availability of the selected candidate.
LOCATION: One branch/day (to be decided by school & selected candidate)
DAYS: 3-days/week (to be decided by the school & selected candidate)
HOURS: Selected candidate can choose from 3 possible shifts for each day:
a. 0830-1230
b. 1230-1630
c. 1630-2030
*Once decided, the schedule shall remain the same for the contract year.
STUDENT AGE RANGE: 0 to Adult
CLASS SIZES: 1-on-1 and small groups (up to 5 students)
MATERIALS: Provided by school but teacher may incorporate his/her own materials as needed.
Ideal candidates must:
- Be able to work within the guidelines & policies of the school
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Be diligent, responsible, and professional
- Be able to teach a wide variety of ages (at times, in the same shift)
