Description

Intro:
Gazza English School in Nisshin & Nagoya cities, Aichi Pref. has a full-time position starting immediately.

Position:
Full-time. Monday - Friday.

Start:
Immediately.

Contract duration:
Three types, all with further contracts available.
Type A) 6 months. (October 2022 - March 2023)
Type B) 1.5 years. (October 2022 - March 2024)
Type C) 2.5 years. (October 2022 - March 2025)

Interview process:
After the initial interview, a further in person interview will be held.
*Initial interview can be online.

Compensation:
*¥280 000 - ¥320 000. *Pay rate depends on qualifications and experience.
**We offer a progressive pay scale system.

Additional incentives:
Contract completion bonuses (¥50,000 - ¥100,000).
No sick day bonus (¥10,000 per 6 months).
Travel compensation (up to ¥10,000 per month).
Financial assistance for current job resignation.

Hours:
5 days / week. (Mon. - Fri.).
4 - 5, 55 minute lessons a day.
*Generally 7 hours a day from 2:00 p.m. to allow for planning.

Holidays:
- Type B & C contracts: approximately seven weeks paid holiday per year.
- Type A contract: approximately four weeks paid holiday.
*Golden Week, Obon, winter vacation and others.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who:

- enjoys teaching.
- is willing to learn and can learn quickly.
- can take guidance and advice.
- can adapt to and adopt our well structured course schedule.
- is energetic, organized, reliable, punctual, well-presented and friendly.
- can take English out of a textbook and bring it to life for the students.
- can utilize our wide variety of teaching materials and realia.
- has some Japanese language skill.
- has experience teaching English in Japan.
- realizes the teacher is there for the students and can ‘read’ students.

* Having own transport is desirable, however not a requirement.

A Gazza English School teaching position includes:

Branch - Arimatsu, Nagoya-city Aichi Pref.

Students:
Ages - Kindergarten to adult, with the majority being elementary to junior high school.
Skill - Beginner, intermediate, advanced and semi-fluent.
