Job description
Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a sound artist to work on various projects related to our online educational content.
You will be required to edit footage from multiple audio sources and incorporate in-house and externally sourced assets as part of the production process.
Constructing, mixing, and editing songs and audio for our productions will be a fundamental part of your assignments, and you will receive direction and guidance from our Head of Production.

The successful applicant will have professional experience as a sound engineer or have technical expertise in sound-engineering techniques and will possess exceptional abilities to meet our quality standards.

It is a supervisory management position that requires creative oversight of 1-2 independent contractors.

Responsibilities:
Our projects at Kinder Kids Online Team guide our children’s learning experience. Therefore it is essential that each project is entertaining and supports our curriculum objectives. You will work closely with project leaders and other members of the team in order to understand the flow, style, and quality of the expected output.

Job Requirements:
Edit and mix audio tracks.
Enhance the sound quality and add sound effects to recordings.
Work with video editors to synchronize video with audio tracks.
Add background music, incidental music, and sound effects to animated and live-action educational videos for children.
Write and create songs for kids.
Download, edit, and upload data using a shared Drive space.
Maintain sound libraries.
Manage time and priorities to carry out projects and meet deadlines.
Attend and participate in meetings and briefings as required.
Report to the Head of Production to provide feedback, ensure company needs are met, and propose actions for the future.
Work on, conceive, and develop various sound projects and oversee their completion.
Direct and guide independent contractors to help them use their skills effectively and efficiently to ensure all projects meet our high standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Sound Engineering or any related field OR a minimum 3 years of demonstrable professional experience
Native-level communication skills in the English language. Japanese communication skills are desired but not essential
Ability to adapt to changes and manage intensive workload
