Japanese level: from N2 (verbal, reading and writing)

Compensation:
Monthly wage: from ¥250,000
Transportation allowance up to 30.000 JPY
Health Insurance and Pension, Unemployment Insurance provided

Working Days & Hours:
The daily work shifts: 9:30-18:30, 10:00-19:00
Monday through Friday.

Start Date:
As soon as possible.

Nearest Station: 15 min. walk from (5 min. by bus) from Konan-Chuo station (Blue Line)

Probation Period: 2 month

Position Details: 
・Be a Bilingual Coordinator for a renowned English program at a kindergarten in Yokohama. You will be the main point of contact between English teachers and management staff at the kindergarten. In this position, you will be able to use English in a professional setting, while also taking part in the international education of Japanese children!
・Prepare student's attendance list
・Support English lessons and provide feedback to teachers
・Create English lesson schedule
・Coordinate follow-up training for English teachers
・Prepare classroom and teaching materials, making crafts
・Planning and preparation for school events
・Organize meetings with English teachers
・Coordinating and interpreting meetings between parents and English teachers
・Greet and welcome parents after lessons
・Solving problems of English lessons and English teachers

Paid Holidays:
Usually Saturday and Sunday, public holidays, ten days of flexible leave.

Basic Requirements:
Educational Background:
The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree or above unless he or she already possesses a valid Japanese visa
Preferred Skills/Certificates:
Japanese level: from N2 or the same level
University degree related to Education or English language
Teaching/Tutoring Experience:
Experience of working with younger children is required

Visa sponsorship:
Available for applicants that already possess a valid working visa

Recruitment process:
Candidates that pass the initial screening will be invited to have interview. Following the decision to hire, new manager will go through a short training (2-day online seminar) and an extended training course.
