Description

2020 is behind us, and it's time to look forward towards a brand-new year. If you're looking to make a fresh start, have you considered taking your career into the field of education? Or, if you have worked as a teacher before, are you seeking new challenges and new rewards? Either way, 2021 is as great a time as any to start or continue your career as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) with Borderlink, Inc!

● Believe In Your Possibility!
To those already in Japan and looking to stay here throughout next year, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. Working as an ALT offers great job stability, as there will always be a need for teachers in the world of public education. ALTs play a vital role in the Japanese school curriculum and become an essential part of school life for the next generation. It's a career path that can be as fulfilling for you as it is enriching for your students.

For those who've already worked as an ALT before, this is a great way to develop your teaching skills in a new work environment. For those used to teaching adults in the evening or on weekends at language schools, working as an ALT presents a new opportunity that opens up many new doors. And for students currently studying in Japan and expecting to graduate by March 2021, you can get started on your post-graduate career in Japan today! Although April is still a few months away, offers are being made now for positions across Japan. We highly encourage you to send you application in today and begin the process. We are holding interviews and weekend orientation sessions for those who are already living in Japan.

If you're living overseas, there's still time to apply for an April 2021 start but this will be our last opportunity to support your journey to Japan in time for the spring. We're ready to make your journey to Japan a simple and smooth one, but the window of opportunity for overseas applicants is almost over so don't delay! Get the ball rolling now and get work lined up for this spring! Wherever you are, we're waiting to hear from you!

And if you're in Japan looking for work immediately, we have some available positions that are open right now! Please don't hesitate to let us know when applying to this advertisement so we can share details with you.

● Who Are We Looking For?
In addition to the requirements stated at the top of this ad, successful applicants should have strong verbal and written communication skills, be in good health, and be an excellent team player. Japanese isn't required but is highly desired by many schools, so knowledge of the language or a willingness to learn is encouraged. The ability to drive in Japan is also highly sought-after and widens your range of possibilities.

● Support Every Step of the Way
After passing the interview stage, successful candidates are given continuing assistance to ensure a smooth transition into their new role. We can help with visa support, locating accommodations for those relocating, setting up a bank account, round-the-clock assistance, and much more all so that you can live and work comfortably!

Other benefits of being an ALT with Borderlink include year-round training (including orientation/initial training), access to teaching materials and our library of educational resources (worksheets, flashcards, etc.), free monthly consultation from veteran ALTs, a yearly calendar to help manage your schedule, paid holidays (as stipulated by the contract), possibility of contract renewal and/or advancement in the company based on performance and skills.

● Benefits of Being an ALT
ALTs work regular school hours (usually between 8 AM to 5 PM) and enjoy free evenings, weekends and national holidays, plus school vacation periods. Overtime work is rare and you can enjoy a work-life balance that lets you grow professionally, while also having the time to explore and enjoy Japan and its culture. And when it comes to the job, if you're willing to learn and are open to new experiences, we can and want to help you! The schools and students we work with want the best, and we'll make sure you are the best!

● Apply Today!
For those in Japan, we are now receiving position information, and may have that area you've dreamed of working in. As mentioned, we're already making offers for the 2021 school year starting this April, so don't delay- apply today! And for those overseas, this is the last call, so get you application in now and get on the road towards an exciting new future! Thank you for your interest in Borderlink. Let's believe in your possibility and look towards a new year together.

*Please note that as we receive a high number of applicants, only those who pass the initial screening will be contacted for an interview.
