Packwood English School is located in Niihama, of Ehime prefecture, in Shikoku, one of Japan's 4 major islands. Travelers to Niihama can expect the beautiful backdrop of the Besshi mountains to the South, and a glorious view of the Setouchi sea, most famous for the cycling route over the bridges connecting islands from Shikoku to Honshu.

Qualifications

We are looking for a full-time (Part-time is also accepted) English teacher in Niihama, Ehime prefecture who can work 9 hours a day Tuesday through Saturday. We teach students of all ages, from 0 years old to adults.

Applicants must be a Native English speaker who is willing to relocate to Ehime prefecture. Applicants currently living in Japan must have a valid Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services status or be willing to switch to the one mentioned. A driver's license is not required, but public transport isn't very convenient, so it is recommended to fully enjoy the nature and beauty of the Ehime region. They must have a bachelor's degree or higher. Immediate availability is preferred. Applicants must provide their own transportation to Japan, and must be willing to work for more than one year at least.

* On top of the base salary, an additional 120000 yen bonus is paid to teachers who complete each full contracted year of work.
