A small international kindergarten is looking for a teacher who is passionate about teaching children. The class is team teaching with a Japanese teacher but the foreign teacher leads. A curriculum is in place but plenty of room for creativity. Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30, contact hours 9:00-2:30 time for prep after that. Class size is around 25 children. School lunch and uniform provided. Some events fall on the weekend but most weekends and National Holidays are off plus 20 days paid leave. Great fun environment to work.
Sponsorship and housing provided as well as a free gym membership and health insurance.
Location in the center of the city.
Responsibilities include lesson planning, teaching, child care, student records, parent/teacher meetings, attending and helping with events. Must be able to work in a team, sing, dance, and love children.
As the school is an NPO some charity work is required.
Experience with young children in a school setting is a must.
