Description

Are you ready to believe in your possibility? Because we are! Borderlink, Inc. is now hiring for the next school year starting from April 2019. We are one of the top recruiters of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) in Japan, and we're looking to grow our team of enthusiastic and dedicated teachers as we head into a new year.

-What will you do?-

ALTs get to work in public elementary and/or junior high schools, and more than simply offering a service, we become part of our student's lives. You'll teach alongside Japanese teachers in the classroom, have the opportunity to eat lunch and play with your students at recess, and truly become a part of the schools you work at. ALTs also work normal public school hours, enjoying free evenings and weekends as well as national holidays and winter/summer school breaks.

-What will we do?-

Our role is to support and guide you as you develop your teaching skills and cultivate a relationship with your schools. Whether you're brand-new to Japan and teaching or well-versed in one of those areas (or both) we want to get you ready to step into the classroom with confidence and help manage your ability to be the best educator you can be.

We offer extensive training throughout the year by our qualified team, and you'll have access to our high quality teaching materials and resource database. We also provide sponsorship/aid for Immigration/Visa matters, help finding accommodations, setting up a bank account, and 24/7 support.

-Where will you go next?-

With Borderlink, there's always room for growth. Many in our management team began as ALTs or teachers themselves, and over the years accumulated the knowledge and skills to pass on to others. We understand the difficulties one may face in this line of work, and do our utmost best to help you as much as we can.

With the increased focus the Japanese education system has placed on English during the run-up to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the need for high-quality ALTs has risen. Although prior teaching experience and Japanese ability are not required, they are highly sought after. Cities want the best. Here at Borderlink, we'll work to help you be the best.

-Can I still apply?-

Yes, we are still accepting applicants living abroad, but the window is closing fast. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible!

Already in Japan? We will be holding domestic candidate orientation sessions throughout early 2019! Our next session is:

January 5th, 2019 (Saturday)
Locations: Tokyo (Takadanobaba) and Saitama (Omiya)

Space is limited, so please apply now directly through this advertisement.

If this sounds like the opportunity you've been waiting for, we're waiting to hear from you! Please apply today, and thank you for your interest in Borderlink!

**Please note that as we receive a high number of applicants, only those who pass the initial screening will be contacted for an interview.**
