The Hamamatsu Branch of Interac Kansai & South Central Company is seeking applications for relief teachers for elementary and junior high school Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) positions in the Shiga Prefecture area. Positions start in June 2022.
As a relief teacher with Hamamatsu Branch, you will teach English in public elementary and junior high schools when the ALT assigned to a school is unable to attend. Assignments will vary in length and location. Transportation and temporary housing (if needed) are covered by the Company.
This position requires someone who is flexible, able to adapt quickly to new situations and who is comfortable working independently in a changing working environment.
Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
Requirements:
★ You must currently live in Japan
★ You must have a valid driver license for Japan
★ You must be a native-level speaker of English
★ You must have graduated from a university with at least a bachelor's degree
★ You must be professional and mature in all aspects of behavior
★ You must be a team-player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic
★ You must have a valid Japanese work visa
Training
Interac has a paid, comprehensive initial and ongoing training program to support and develop all ALTs.
Working hours
In these positions, the ALT will generally work between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday through Friday.
Remuneration
Salary starts at 240,000 Japanese Yen per month. Full-time ALTs receive a generous holiday entitlement in line with school vacations throughout the year.
Transportation is fully compensated.
A leased car option is available for positions requiring driving.
