This opening is for a full-time position as an assistant language teacher (ALT) in Kobayashi city, Miyazaki prefecture starting ASAP with the initial contract finishing at the end of March 2018.

The placement will be in elementary schools and Junior High Schools across Kobayashi city, where the ALT will assist as a team teacher and help plan English lessons under a schedule created by GLAD and the Board of Education. As well as teaching English lessons, you may also be asked to participate in other school activities such as clubs, cleaning of the school and cultural festivals.

Contract dates:
ASAP - March 2018

Position Requirements:
・Must be a native speaker of English, or have acquired an education in English for at least 12 years.
・Must have completed a University Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in English countries.
・Must have a valid visa status that allows you to live and work in Japan (Visa sponsorship available)
・Must have a driver's license to commute to schools.


Conditions:
・Monthly base salary is 230,000-250,000 per month.
・Monday to Friday. Between 8:00 am to 16:15 pm.
・Transportation costs will be covered at a certain rate per month. (Car and travel expenses included)
・Days off include weekends, National Holidays, and other holidays set on the Board of Education's school calendar.
