KGIC is a privately owned conversation school with about 300 students located in Motoyama in Nagoya. (15minites from Nagoya station) Though small, KGIC Japan has a growing reputation in the area and has increased student numbers every year since 2004.

We are renovating our school for new school year of 2018 to welcome more students, as so we are now seeking an experienced English teacher who can help us build on that positive reputation and continue to grow in our brand new classrooms! A teacher who has experience teaching, playing and having fun with children is a huge asset. At KGIC, we are all part of a team that want to create the best lessons that also help the students improve as quickly as possible.

Student ages range from pre-school to adult, though most are in elementary school.
Class sizes are limited to six students, giving both students and teachers the advantage of more one on one attention. We also have many students who have been English speakers in other countries or whom have a high level of English (from International schools, at home study, etc) so we are always teaching from beginner to high level students.

KGIC Japan is ideal for a person who is self-motivated, energetic, creative and loves children.



POSITION: ①Full-time / ②Part-time(from 1day to 5days a week)

START: January / April 2018

LOCATION: Motoyama 3 minutes from subway station (15 minutes from Nagoya station)

STUDENTS:
☆Ages - kindergarten thru High school, a few adults.
☆Levels - beginners, intermediate and high level Returnees.

HOURS:
①Full-time Mon-Fri, 6-7 hours per day (between 2pm~9pm)
②Part-time Mon-Sat, 3-6 hours (weekdays between 3pm~9pm / Saturday 9am~3pm )
　　 50 or 80 minute classes (maximum 6 per day)　

HOLIDAYS: Goldenweek, Summer vacation, Silverweek, 2 Week Winter vacation, Spring vacation

SALARY
①Full-time 260,000-300,000yen/month *negotiable
　　 *Completion of Contract Bonus (up to 100,000yen)
　 　*No Sick Day Bonus (10,000yen/6months)
　　 *Travel Compensation (up to 10,000yen/month)

②Part-time 2,500-3,000yen/hour
　*Completion of Contract Bonus (up to 20,000yen)
　*No Sick Day Bonus (5,000yen/6months)
　*Travel Compensation (up to 5,000yen/month)


Applicants must have:
*A university bachelor’s degree.
*Possess a valid working visa. (KGIC can sponsor the visa)
*Minimum one year teaching experience in Japan.
*Be able to work for one year (or more).
*Have experience making and executing lesson plans.
*Be a very good communicator.
