Since 1976, Convex Inc. has been engaging in the operation, planning, and overall management of conventions, events, and exhibitions, including international conferences, academic meetings, and other government promoted MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) events sponsored by companies, organizations, and medical societies.
We provide precise, detailed, and customized services to meet our clients' needs with our experienced and professional staff who expertise in all genres, cultures, and languages.

We customize our services according to customer needs; from request for proposals (RFP) to planning, venue selection, contract negotiation, on-site management and staffing, we combine cutting edge technology with years of experience to tailor-make services guaranteed to deliver successful meetings and events that achieve our clients’ goals and create a lasting impression.

We are looking for an international convention coordinator and/or assistant for conventions such as international conferences and international medical congresses. The main task will be to correspond with domestic and international participants, providing service and hospitality to all participants at each convention and event.

We are looking for the right people to work with us in our MICE industry. This is an unique opportunity to get first hand experience working on a variety of events and conventions, and a chance to be at the forefront of an exciting industry, delivering value while growing into an expert of the field.

《Type of Employment》
・Any type of employment is possible (full-time, part-time, etc.)
*Salary will depend on the type of employment

《Main Tasks》
・Correspondence in MICE such as international conferences
・Coordinate conventions and events according to the client's wishes
・Provide service and hospitality to participants at each convention and event
・Maintaining good relationships with key clients to ensure long-term partnerships

《Working Conditions》
・Working hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
 →There will be times when overtime work and working on holidays will be required (if you work on a holiday, you will get a compensatory day off)
・Holidays: 2 days off per week (Saturday, Sunday) and national holidays
・Vacation: 10 days paid in the first year (after 6 months trial period), thereafter based on the Labor Standards Law
・Allowance: Performance pay and commuting allowance

・Full social insurance

《Required Qualifications》
・English-Japanese bilingual (English - native level/Japanese - advanced business level)
・A residence status that allows you to work in Japan
・At least 3 years of work experience in a company
・Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to create documents

Other desired qualifications:
・Experience working in the convention/event, travel, or hotel industry
・Experience working in an English-speaking environment
