Lingo Network is a rapidly growing company based in Japan - the consulting division of Lingo currently seeks an outgoing and talented Business Analyst to fill in demand for continuous improvement and development of a large collection of software systems on-site at our client company.

As Experienced Business Analyst, you will be placed as a bridge between the business and the development team, conducting various analysis for process improvement, statistic evaluation, gap identification. You will also be placed within a circle that will influence decision-making, translating raw events, information and numbers into insight - which in turns helps both business and development team to strike in the right direction.



Required Skills

Responsibilities:
Gather relevant understanding of the overall operational business operation situation within the client organization where you will be positioned to conduct business analysis and provide recommendation on ways to make it better.
Conduct data analysis and make recommendations for projects / initiatives through cost-benefit, invest-divest, forecasting, impact analysis).
Create quantitative forecasting, operational, financial and statistical models to guide business decisions.
Extract business insight to guide boundaries of technical development projects: budget, scope, drop sizes, and priorities of multi-faceted request
Create and deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders.
Brainstorming creative ideas for initiatives, presenting statistical models and insight to engineers, and strategic innovations to executives / business stakeholder.

Requirements:
Strong character with exceptional talent who puts strong drive on delivery
Exceptional communication skills (English a must, with preference for proficiency in either Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, or both)
BA or BS degree (In lieu of degree, 3 years of relevant work experience)
Exceptional business & technical analysis skills
Proficient in SQL, and at least one programming language (Python, Java, C, or others)

Preferred qualifications:
3 years of relevant work experience
Experience using analytic program, such as R
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; pivot tables, macros, VBA

note: Candidates who are already in Japan and can start immediately will be prioritized
