Kansai International Academy is currently seeking experienced teachers for one of our 7 campuses: Higashi Osaka, Ashiya, Hirakata, Akashi, Kyoto, Himeji and Tennoji. We offer bilingual education to children living in Japan. This position is very competitive in terms of salary, benefits and conditions. Early Learning Center and Kindergarten position:
We currently have openings for ELC and Kindergarten for the next school year commencing in April 2013. Applicants should hold a working visa, a degree and have experience teaching English to young children in Japan. Teachers should also be energetic and creative educators who love to interact with and care for children. An Early Learning or Kindergarten/Elementary teaching qualification is strongly preferred.

<Requirements and Duties>
Full time teaching duties.
Assessment of student progress.
Fundamental care and supervision of students.
Continuation of curriculum revision and development.
Ability to apply curriculum principles in practice and to plan effective lessons.
Ability and experience teaching students for whom English is not their first language.
Teaching certification strongly preferred.

We have an established a successful curriculum for both Early Learning Center and Kindergarten, and a strong support network for our teachers.

The position involves teaching and caring for a class of up to 20 students aged between 1 and 6 (depending on grade and department), with support from an experienced Japanese classroom assistant.

Travel expenses are paid up to a maximum of 25,000 yen per month and private health insurance is provided in addition to salary.
