◆ Our Teaching Style
At Kids Duo International, we’re all about making learning an adventure! Our cutting-edge bilingual kindergarten offers a dynamic blend of English, Japanese, and Physical Education, all crafted to boost kids’ confidence and set them up for lifelong success.
As a Kids Duo International teacher, you’ll dive into a variety of fun English subjects like Reading, Phonics, Songs, Arts & Crafts, and Show & Tell, with classes full of energetic 2-6-year-olds. But it’s not just English—we mix in Japanese-language classes, Music, Role-plays, and our super popular “Ninja Class” for Physical Education. You’ll be right there with the kids, making every activity exciting!
Expect to work between 7:30 and 20:00, Monday to Friday, with some special events on weekends. There might be opportunities for paid overtime in the mornings and evenings if you’re up for it. Get ready for a lively and rewarding teaching experience!
◆What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Kindergarten Teacher at Kids Duo International, your days will be packed with fun and meaningful interactions. You’ll work closely with Japanese teachers, guide kids on manners and life skills, and make every moment count with active participation in sports and outdoor play. You’ll help with everything from toilet training to prepping for awesome school events like field trips, festivals, and seasonal celebrations, bringing your energy to dances, plays, and sports competitions.
In your English teaching role, you'll lead engaging classes for up to 30 kids aged 2 to 6, craft exciting lesson plans, and track student progress to hit those English goals. You’ll also get creative with new activities, games, and songs, and keep up with marking workbooks and writing report cards twice a year.
You’ll also take part in keeping the classroom and common areas tidy, work on special event days, and sometimes cover extended childcare hours. Plus, get into the spirit with themed costumes for Halloween and traditional outfits for the Summer Festival. Get ready for a lively and rewarding role that’s all about making learning fun!
