Part-Time English Communications Teacher, Chiba, Apr 2025

A private secondary high school in Chiba prefecture is looking for a part time English communications teacher for the 2025 academic year.

The teaching style will be lead team-teaching with a Japanese teacher, so this position is perfect for those who enjoys collaborating with others to give the students an exciting and meaningful learning experience.

Although this is a part time position, the salary will be a fixed monthly salary regardless of school holidays.

As a bonus, the school is also conveniently located near several major train lines.

Contract period: April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026
Contract type: direct hire
Location: Chiba Prefecture (Ichikawa City)
Salary: 168,000-179,200/month (before tax)
Working days: 4 days/week scheduled Monday to Saturday (your preferences will be taken into consideration)
Working hours: TBD
Lesson Content: English Oral Communication (15-16 classes/week)

[Duties]
* Preparation, execution, and grading of English oral communication classes
* Development of curriculum and teaching materials
* Pre-class meetings
* Creation, proofreading, grading, and evaluation of regular exams

[Qualification Requirements]
* Bachelor's degree or higher
* At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at secondary school
* Capable of working with Japanese team teacher
* Currently reside in Japan and have a valid visa
