Yoyogi International School is seeking a certified PYP elementary teacher, who will join a collaborative, supportive team. We are a small K-8 school in the Yoyogi Park area of Tokyo.

Candidate Traits :
・A passion for meeting the learning needs of children
・Ability to coach sports, other co-curricular activities, or other after-school activities
・A commitment to multilingualism and to serving a diverse array of language learners
・Appreciation of diverse learning communities and cultural understanding

Requirements
・BA or MA with state/ provincial teaching certification (ie., QTS, OTC, DOE)
・Provide police/background checks and medical clearance
・2 years of international teaching with PYP experience is ideal
・Native English Speaker is preferred
・Available to work from August 1, 2024

Work hours : 5 days a week (8:00am to 5:00pm)
Holidays：Saturdays and Sundays, annual paid leaves, winter/summer breaks

Insurance : Japanese Social Insurance (Employee's pension insurance, Health insurance, Employment insurance)
Transportation expenses : covered (with limits)
