A high academic high school with an emphasis on global studies is seeking a substitute teacher for the subject of English Language Arts over the course of 7 weeks (September-Mid October 2024) to teach returnee students. Contract period: September 2, 2024 - October 15, 2024 (Dispatch contract)
Location: Western Tokyo
Pay/week : 80,000yen - 95,000yen (before tax) + transportation
(Total: 560,000yen-665,000yen/7weeks)
*Depending on academic background and relevant teaching experience
Working days: Monday - Friday
Working hours: 8:20 - 17:20
Lessons: English Literature (17 Lessons/week)

[Duties]
・Preparation, execution, and grading of literature classes for returnees
・Development of curriculum and teaching materials
・Pre-class meetings
・Creation, proofreading, grading, and evaluation of regular exams
・Assistant homeroom teacher duties
・Participation in and guidance for school events (including school information sessions)
・Other duties related to school education

[Qualification Requirements]
* Bachelor's degree or higher(English major preferred)
* At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at secondary school
* Capable of working with the school's curriculum
* Currently reside in Japan and have a valid visa
