• Host: ¥2,000 to ¥2,500 per hour or ¥20,000 per session Guest: ¥1,500 to ¥2,000 per hour or ¥5,000 per session

Our GaijinPot YouTube channel aims to make life easier for fellow foreigners in Japan by sharing experiences, advice and discussions on various aspects of living and visiting here.

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our video cast as guests and hosts. As a guest, you'll have the opportunity to share your experiences and insights about living in Japan (or visiting), participate in discussions and answer questions from our hosts and other guests. Hosts will guide the conversation, follow an outline and may occasionally read from a teleprompter.

【What to expect for guests】
You will be sent the topic and interview questions in advance to prepare your on-camera answers for
Come in on filming day and meet the video team
Answer the questions asked on camera
Discuss and compare answers with other interviewees

【What to expect for hosts】
You will need to audition with us prior to your first shoot (this involves coming into the office, meeting the team and doing a test shot)
Once chosen, you’ll be sent the video outline, script and other materials needed to prepare before each video
Come in on filming day and meet with the team

Soto-Kanda, Chiyoda City

【Work time】
2-3 hours of filming

【Wage】
Compensation will be determined based on experience and level of contribution

【REQUIREMENTS】
* Japanese: None
* English: Conversational
* Must currently reside in Japan
* Confident and engaging presence
* Willingness to share personal experiences and insights about life in Japan
* Availability for on-call shoots (up to two a month), each lasting 2-3 hours
* Openness to occasional adjustments or additional requirements based on specific video topics
* Must have permission to work in Japan
* Please add your weekday availability in your cover letter
