Because you're reading this Job ad on GaijinPot we don't need to introduce ourselves, but did you know that GplusMedia also runs JapanToday, SavvyTokyo, Real Estate Japan, AND GaijinPot Travel? We're looking to expand our sales team to reach out to companies domestically and abroad to advertise on our various websites.


You'll be working as part of an international team dedicated supporting the international community here in Japan by bringing together companies from all over the world with products and services our community wants to see.


[What You'll Be Doing]

A typical day starts by clocking in either remotely or at the office. From there you'll check in with the team, catch up on emails and start reaching out to clients both new and existing. You'll be responsible for the following KPI:

- Connecting with Clients via email and phone calls to secure deals
- Reaching out via cold calls and emails to new clients
- Managing the sales process from start to finish including follow up
- Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Communication with Clients in both English and Japanese
- Working with our Marketing Team to develop and implement outgoing sales activities including B2B marketing plans, cold calling, and client identification.
- Working to qualify new leads and prepare them to speak to a sales representative to close.


[Requirements]

- University Graduate (Sales Experience is ALWAYS a plus)
- Strong communication abilities in English and Japanese, you should be comfortable pitching products and speaking on the phone in English and Japanese
- The ability to work well in a team setting but also independently manage daily tasks
- Experience in Media sales or related positions is a plus, let us know how you can leverage your skills!

[Work Information]

5 Days a Week 7.5hr per Day
Flex System (core time from 10:00 – 15:00)
Hybrid Work System Remote work and Office work supported

[Salary]

Basic Salary includes approx 10hr of overtime, extra is paid
Commission Plan once you qualify as a full salesperson you will have the opportunity to build a book of business and manage clients.

【職務内容】
まずはリモート又はオフィスにて出勤。出勤後はチームに報告し、メールチェックや新規顧客、クライアントへの連絡をします。

主なKPI:
メールや電話でクライアントと連絡を取り、案件を獲得
新規顧客への営業電話やメール送信
フォローアップも含めた案件のマネージメント
毎月や4半期ごとの売り上げ目標達成
日英両方の言語を使用したクライアントとのコミュニケーション

【応募条件】
大卒以上、又は2-3年の営業職経験
日本語と英語両方の高いコミュニケーションスキル(どちらの言語でも商品の説明や電話でのやりとりができる)
チームワークがあり、タスクの自己管理ができる
