The Marketing and Admissions Officer is responsible for providing strategic input for all marketing and admissions-related activities from developing marketing strategies to hosting information sessions for prospective families; from explaining the school's programmes and policies, maintaining updated demographic and statistical information to preparing and revising admission materials, policies and procedures. The duty also involves coordination with teachers and staff of different departments.
The ideal candidate should have:
・Bachelor degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing/Public Relations, or Education.
・A good understanding of computer systems and software applications.
・Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
・Strong organizational skills, with strong analytical ability and outstanding attention to detail.
・An ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
・A high level of commitment and professionalism.
・Fluency in both written and spoken English as well as Japanese.
・Directs and implements strategic marketing plans.
・Liaises with advertising agencies for articles and advertisements of the school inside and outside of Japan.
・Represents the school at school fairs and conferences.
・Enforces admission criteria and determines policies and procedures for student admissions.
・Develops and provides admission and transfer information through presentations and publications.
・Respond to inquiries from prospective students and parents.
・Manages and hosts the school information sessions and campus tours
・Establishes and plans pre-screening and testing procedures.
・Evaluates new applications to assess enrollment criteria and to determine grade placement.
・Ensures a smooth enrollment for all admitted families.
・Implements the development of processes using technology that supports and enhances established goals, reporting needs and database management.
・Maintains and updates the school’s demographics and enrollment data.
-School Administrative Duties-
・Provides translation services at parent-teacher conferences.
・Provides first-aids in case of injuries and emergencies and contacts parents as deemed necessary.
・Maintains student-parent contact information up to date.
・Other duties as assigned.
