Description

Our company is seeking Teachers for elementary positions in Neyagawa city, Osaka Prefecture.
Details are as follows:

【Details】
・Location: Elementary school in Neyagawa city, Osaka
・Contract Period: Jun or July (as soon as possible), 2022 to March ,2022
・Contract Type: Full-time
・Level: Elementary school
・Working Hours: 8:15 am to 5:15 pm (including 60 minutes break time)
・Salary Range: 250,000-270,000 yen per a month.
・Transportation fee: Provided

【Location/ Station】
Neyagawa city

【Basic responsibilities】
Work collaboratively with a Japanese co-teacher to prepare and teach 12~18 lessons per week to elementary students in a single grade level (chosen from among grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6).
Lessons are conducted mainly in English and cover the following subjects:
・English (including reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
・mathematics (basic numeracy, arithmetic, etc.)
・living environment or science
・integrated studies
・physical education

【Job description】
・Share homeroom duties with another full-time (Japanese) teacher
・Assist with the selection and preparation of learning materials
・Prepare and grade assignments and tests
・Provide appropriate feedback to students and their parents/guardians in regards to students’ academic performance
・Adhere to all applicable school policies regarding behavior, dress, etc.
・Serve as a positive role-model for all members of the school community
・Participate in periodic meetings with other teachers and administrators
・Assist with school-related events, including school information sessions, sports day events, etc.

【Requirements】
Successful candidates must:
・Already be living in Japan and hold a valid visa permitting work.
・Be a native speaker of English or equivalent (12 years of education where the main language of instruction was English visa holders)
・Have at least a Bachelor's degree or higher
・Have conversational level Japanese & be able to communicate with teachers
・Have good communication skills and patience
・Be flexible
・Be active
・Have positive character
・Be able to make joyful atmosphere during classes
・Have good communication skills and patience
・ Be able to commit to the entire length of the contract
・Must be familiar with English language teaching pedagogy;
・Must have classroom teaching experience with elementary school-aged children (preferably including classes of 10 or more students);
・Must be able to deliver engaging lessons to groups of up to 33 students;
・Must be able and willing to work collaboratively with other teachers and administrators;
・Must be dedicated and hard-working;
・Must be flexible and resilient.
