Position：Native or Native-level Primary School Teacher
(Full Time, Three months probationary period)
We are a newly opened Japanese private article one elementary school (based on the Japanese national curriculum）and not functioning as an independent international school or an English conversation school. Our school has begun to operate last year and the number of our students has been increasing.
The foreign homeroom teaching position requires teaching children in grades 1- 4 and working with Japanese homeroom teachers. The prospective foreign homeroom teacher will also conduct morning meetings, lesson planning, and teaching other subjects in English.
In addition, the prospective foreign teacher applicant should have a broad understanding of Japanese school working ethics and culture, flexibility in a fast-paced environment, a can-do attitude with a strong sense of responsibility, an initiative to partake in other duties assigned by the school, and more importantly, knows how to respect other cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds.
We focus on:
・Problem solving and inquiry-based learning
・Developing English language acquisition through conducting 30~40% of the classes in English
Basic Salary：¥250,000~¥320,000 per month
(Salary varies depending on qualification and experience)
Other Benefits include：
Transportation expenses： maximum of ¥120,000（half a year）
Rent subsidy： maximum of ¥30,000 (only available for teachers who opt to live within the school proximity)

-Bachelor's degree or higher
-Elementary teaching experience of at least two (2) years either in your home country or within Japan (Not necessary for new graduates of accredited universities)
-Applicants having Middle or High School experiences in Japan may also be considered
-Willingness and ability to implement an English learning/ Problem solving/ Inquiry-based curriculum
- Possess experience and/or qualification in TEFL/TESL/TESOL
Desired, but non-mandatory qualifications:
-Possess an accredited Elementary School license (Middle or High School license may be considered)
-Willingness and ability to work for at least three (3) years
-Experience teaching their subject specialization
SUBJECT AREA: English, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, music, art
• English: Native or Native level
• Must currently reside in Japan
• Bachelor's degree or higher/ 学士号、大学卒業以上
• Elementary teaching experience of at least two (2) years（Middle or High School experiences may also be considered）/ 2年以上の小学校教員経験（中高でも）
• Willingness and ability to implement an English Learning, Problem solving, Inquiry-based curriculum/ 英語教育、課題解決・探究型の教育に意欲と能力
• Demonstrate an understanding and interest in Japanese culture and language.（No Japanese skill necessary）/ 日本語や日本文化に強い理解・興味がある（日本語力は問わない）
