We are looking for an experienced teacher to teach international and advance English courses, and possible homeroom duties at a private Junior High School. Junior High School English Teacher, Northern Tokyo (April 2022)
Contract Period: April 1, 2022 - March 31, 2023
Contract Type: Dispatch
Working Days: 5 days/week (days off Sunday + 1 week day)
Working hours: 40 hours/week (between 8:00-19:00)
Class: Up to 20 lessons/week
Compensation: from 300,000JPY / month (before tax) + transportation reimbursement
Insurance: Social insurance and employment insurance

Duties:
-teach regular and advance English courses
-teach English club and seasonal courses
-curriculum and material development
-assistant homeroom teacher
-test making, marking, assessment
-supervise during exams
-accompany students for school excursions
-attend meetings and teacher training.
-attend school events such as open school and school ceremonies
-judge at speech contests

Candidates must:
-have a bachelor's degree or higher
-have at least 2 years solo teaching experience at secondary school
-be capable of making and implementing interesting and engaging lessons
-be capable of curriculum design

Not required but ideal:
-have Teaching English as a Second Language certification
-be familiar with the British National Curriculum
-be capable of implementing ICT in the classroom
