We're looking for energetic Full-Time Teachers to join our growing international preschool and after school program developed based on the Gymboree play-based learning curriculum.

Designed by child development experts, Gymboree’s age-appropriate programming (for 0-9 year-olds) supports the development of children’s cognitive, social/emotional and physical skills. Our original Gymboree Core Programs will be offered separately as Mommy & Me and Drop-off classes as well as incorporated in our preschool prep, preschool, after school and Saturday school programs.

We are looking for native English teachers who can start as soon as possible and...

・are confident singing and performing in front of children and parents
・are flexible to changes and new challenges
・are well-organized and have a professional manner
・have a playful and energetic personality and teaching style
・have a passion and enthusiasm to teach English to children
・have at least 1 year experience teaching in a preschool and/or after school environment
・have a positive and collaborative attitude and can work as a team player
・have experience working in a customer service environment and communicating with customers
・can implement school curriculum and contribute to its improvement

★ We provide excellent paid training, which covers our unique curriculum and teaching philosophy, as well as support and motivation to help our teachers grow and succeed. (At least 1-2 weeks of observation and training prior to beginning full-time teaching. Continuing development and training throughout the term of employment.)

★ Our full time teachers have the opportunity to not only lead a variety of programs but also to use their extensive background and experience to contribute to and improve our curriculum.

★ Working hours and days will vary by school location. However, typical working hours will be 8:30-17:30, 9:00-18:00 or 9:30-18:30 with a 1 hour lunch break. Teachers will be asked to lead a combination of preschool, after school, Saturday school and Mommy & Me classes throughout the day with additional prep and curriculum development time.

★ Work location will be a combination of Motoazabu(Hiroo), Jiyugaoka, Asagaya and
Bashamichi (Yokohama) schools and assignments will depend on your home address.

★ Compensation: Full-Time - 8 hours + 1 hour break, 5 days/week (4 weekdays + Sat)
280,00 - 320,000 yen per month (Negotiable depending on experience and
qualifications) + up to 1,500 yen transportation fee per day

★ Holidays & Benefits: Public Holidays, Summer & Winter Holiday, Paid Holiday
(after 6 months), Social Insurance Plan (including Health Insurance)

★ Basic Requirements: Applicants must already be in Japan and able to interview soon in the
Tokyo/Yokohama area. Relocation assistance is not provided.
