2021 Part-Time English Instructor for Schools in Ichihara-shi area, Chiba (expired)

Berkeley House Language Center is seeking cheerful, friendly, and experienced English instructors for part-time English teaching positions at various schools in and around Ichihara-shi in Chiba.

We are looking for instructors who ….
-Are a native-level speaker
-Possess a Bachelors Degree from an accredited University
-Have a minimum of 3 years experience teaching EFL
-Have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching the appropriate age group in a formal school setting.
-Hold a teaching certificate from an accredited organization, such as CELTA, DELTA, MA TESOL, etc., which should include a practicum as part of the course work.
-Are team-players
-Are licensed to drive in Japan

【Position Example 1】
School:
Private Senior High School in Ichihara-shi area

Job Description:
(Include the following but not limited to)
English instructor
Instruct a total of 4 lessons per week over the course of two days
Attend weekly meetings
Lesson preparation


Working days and hours:
TBD
- Two days a week
(Workdays negotiable)
- Tentatively 8:30~16:00　

Contract period:
April 2021 - Mar 2022

Salary:
12,000JPY/ day + transportation


【Position Example 2】
School:
Total of Three Kindergartens in the Kizarazu-shi area

Job Description:
Teach a mother and child (1~3-year-old) English lesson
Teaching two 45-minutes lessons at one school a day, at three different kindergartens over the course of seven days

Work Period:
Between the months of September and October
Schedule to be determined.

Salary:
3,000 JPY/ hour + transportation
