We are looking for an English teacher for a University starting in Apr 2021.

<(Direct Hire) English Teacher, University in Chiba Prefecture, Apr 2021)>
Contract period: Apr 1, 2021 - Mar 31, 2022.
Location: Kashiwa (JR Joban line or Tobu Urban Park line)
Annual salary (before tax): 4,000,000-6,500,000yen (before tax) + transportation
*Amount depends on experience and background
Insurance: Health insurance, pension, and employment insurance included
Working days: 5 days a week (4 teaching day + 1 research day) + some weekend work
Lessons: Up to 8 lessons a week (1 Lesson: 90mins)
Lesson contents: Mandatory General English

<Responsibilities>
- Planning and teaching English classes
- Syllabus making
- Making and marking exams
- Attending school events
- Preparing and teaching on open campus days
- Some administration duties

<Qualification Requirements>
* Have a Master's degree
* Majored in TESOL, linguistics or English related major is preferable
* At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience
* Preferably academic publications or/and conference presentations in a specialised field.
* Have passion and enthusiasm about education
* Intermediate Japanese ability
* Must currently reside in Japan with a valid visa
