A private jun/sen high school in eastern Saitama seeks a part-time (5 days) English teacher.
The salary could be 260,000 yen/mth for 16 lessons/wk, up to 280,000 yen/mth for 18 lessons/wk, under a one-year contract. Upon the performance in the first year, one could be hired directly by school in the following year. The working hour is determined by the class schedule. On a day without a class due to school holiday, term exams or events, a native English teacher has an additional (paid) holiday, beside Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. One-month summer holiday will be paid in August. The social insurance will not be covered but the commuting allowance will be paid monthly.
This large educational institution runs kindergartens, an elementary school, jun/sen high schools, and a university. Their baseball team has a brilliant record of national championship. The other club activities have the high recognition as a sport school. while, the students are hard-working to enter the Japanese prestigious universities.
The school locates in eastern Saitama, one and a half hours from central Tokyo, 30 minutes from Omiya station, 40 minutes from Kitasenju station, 60 minutes from Kashiwa station.
Experience in teaching English at a Japanese junior and/or senior high school is required. The communication skill in Japanese is not necessary but will help.
