Description

American Lycetuff International Pre-School (ALS) is a warm, friendly and two year old school located at JR Akabane station Tokyo, Japan. We are currently looking for a full-time/part-time pre-school teacher, who is prepared to teach all ages from 2 years to 6 years starting from January, 2020. Cultural understanding, professionalism, creativity and dedication are essential. Applicants should consider this as a serious job, not a paid vacation. Outline:
Position: Full-time English/part-time Teacher
Salary: 220,000~260,000 yen (depend upon experience and qualifications) Plus transportation cost
Start Date: January,2020 Contract: One year (renewable upon mutual consent)
Location:Akabane, Kita-Ku Tokyo, Japan (JR Akabane Station 2min walk)
Hours: 9:00-18:00 (one hour break) 40 hours a week (5 days a week)

Requirements:
-Native speaker of English
-Must be able to teach children age 2-6 years
-Have completed a Bachelor Degree or RECE, OCT and higher
-Two year of teaching experience
-Work 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (some Saturday work is also required for events)
-Must be cooperative, able to collaborate with colleagues, good team worker

Job Description:
-Lead and supervise early educational activities in a classroom setting and outdoors
-Plan and implement classroom documentation and set-up learning stations
-Work with students in a group and individually
-Conduct meetings with the parents regarding children’s learning progress and behavior
-Responsible for planning and implementing a program providing children with a developmentally appropriate, safe and healthy environment.
