Description

We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Manager and Customer Service Associates team to join our exciting and fast-growing hotel group. Based in our Wayfarer Hotel Kyoto Shijo Hotel, you will have the important responsibility of managing the guest experience and operations. Most importantly, we will provide you with significant growth opportunities that will push you to be your best.

Hotel Front Desk Manager - base salary negotiable and we can assist with your rent or utilities. There is an opportunity for additional bonus incentive linked to hotel profitability.

Full-Time Customer Service Associates - base salary of at least JPY200,000 negotiable

Part-Time Customer Service Associates - hourly salary of JPY1,300 or more depending on experience. Opportunity for full-time.

Your compensation will increase if you can take on expanded roles and initiatives to improve hotel operations and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES - MANAGER

Reporting to the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, your duties will include, without limitation:

• Continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability
• Hotel marketing and sales efforts.
• Maintain Wayfarer brand values and standards
• Maintain good relations with our employees, business partners and owners
• Responsible for leading the team for effectiveness and efficiency of our product and services
• Build a good relationship with the local business community and authorities
• Create a positive team-orientated environment which focuses on the guest
• Provide regular information and status reports back to all stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES - ASSOCIATES

Reporting to the Front Desk Manager and General Manager, your duties will include, without limitation:

• Assisting guests with check-in, check-out and additional requests
• Guest communications both directly and across booking & social media platforms
• Adjusting room pricing based on instructions from managers
• Monitoring housekeeping for guest rooms
• Inventory & restocking
• Maintain Wayfarer brand values and standards
• Maintain service consistency and facilities cleanliness in communication with housekeepers


WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Skills in Chinese and Japanese will be looked upon highly favorably.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
