Do you want to be part of the international business world? Have you considered the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry?

You will be helping clients make connections in the global business-to-business environment by orchestrating their professional presence at exhibitions, meetings, and events. Domestic and international travel is required. Additional language abilities outside of English / Japanese are a significant plus (French, German, Dutch, etc.). Signifiant consideration given for prior experience in the exhibition, hospitality, event, or related industries.

At Idea, the account management team plays a vital role in maintaining client relationships throughout each project. Each team member assumes overall responsibility for the completion and profitability of the job. The hallmarks of a good account manager are; being organized to manage multiple projects, being pro-active, flexibility and openness to changes (many times last minute), able to handle high-pressure "the show must go on" service, client satisfaction with a focus on communication and managing the budget with multiple suppliers.

We provide you with:
・Potential salary increase once every year (from August 25) - performance reviews held twice per year.
・Mid-year performance bonus, 1-3 month salary equivalent(August 25) and end-of-fiscal-year performance bonus (February 1) 1-3 month salary equivalent

・Core Office Work hours: 9:30am - 6:00pm with flexible hours available based upon your work schedule (i.e US clientele request kick-off conference call - start at 7:00am - end at 3:30pm, UK client requires WebEx meeting at 6pm - start at 11:00am - end at 7:30pm)
・Comp days given for work carried out over weekends or Holidays
・Paid holidays (after passing your initial probation period) 10 days and National Holidays
