Description

Description:
A private jun/sen high school for girls in northeastern Chiba seeks a full-time native English teacher / ALT for 254,000 yen/month, starting April 2020 with a one-year direct contract, possible to extend in the following year and also possible to shift to a non-limited contract in a few years later. A bonus equivalent to 3.5 months’ pay is expected from the second year, although a bonus in the first year is small. All the other benefits begin from April 2020. Commuting allowance is paid with the maximum of 50,000 yen/month. Family allowance and professional allowance for class management is available. Working hour is 8:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday, and 8:00-15:00 on Saturday. Sundays and national holidays are off, based on an annual school calendar. Over time is less than expected as your work-life balance is respected.

Currently several native English teachers work at this school (some of them we, Brain Academy Inc have recruited), who help each other in making curriculum and class preparation, sometimes coping with troubles. Most students come from Chiba, Saitama, and northern Tokyo, who have a positive reputation among local people.

Teaching experience is required, TESOL or teaching certificates favorable. Brain Academy Inc is in charge of candidate screening on behalf of the school.
