[Job Description]
Thank you for your interest in our posting.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager and Administration Assistant as we launch a new international science high school, Manai Institute of Science and Technology, in Ichigaya Tokyo.

Our new school is very different from the traditional high school system, where teachers merely teach subjects to students. Our program strongly focuses on students’ research. We believe that students most effectively learn and thrive by working on their own research, based on their interests, curiosity and passion. In order to make this research-driven program possible, mentors’ support and guidance are essential. We will have to recruit Administration Assistants who will take on the infrastructure of our laboratory. Administration Assistants are responsible for running and coordinating the day-to-day administrative duties of an organization. Traditionally, an Administration Assistant job description highlights the importance of organization skills, communication skills and the capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously. Soft skills such as being professional and exceptional with time management are also valuable to include.

Administration Assistant responsibilities include;
Greeting and directing visitors and new students to the organization
Writing and issuing emails to teams and departments on behalf of teams or other staff
Ordering and taking stock of office supplies
Scheduling and preparing documents for meetings and appointments
Taking notes and minutes in meetings
Researching and booking travel arrangements for staff and students
Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries
Keeping the environment and school facilities clean and safe
Finding ways to improve administrative processes

Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Google Docs
Knowledge of project and task management tools such as Slack, Trello and Zoom
Written and oral conversation level in Japanese and English are required.

Thank you for your time and interest.
