Teacher / Developer (Work online!)（到期)

Our subsidiary, GWG teachers, is partnered with the first online international school based in Japan. We strive to provide an authentic international English education at a fraction of what most other International schools cost, adding-in the flexibility to take classes from anywhere! We also have physical schools, large after school programs as well as our main service which is an online, juku-style platform.

We are currently looking for teachers that would assist in:
- Teaching at after-school programs around Nagoya
- Teaching online (from home)
- Curriculum development

Your schedule can be customized to fit your strengths!

Working days: 40 hours/week, 5 days/week (at least 3 evenings per week from home) Saturday or Sunday and one other weekday off per week (negotiable)
Starting Salary: 240,000+/mo (negotiable based on relevant experience) 220,000+/first month. Opportunity to get a raise soon!
Holidays: Either Saturday or Sunday and one weekday off (usually Monday), negotiable.
6 paid holidays per year, 6 sick days. Company holidays.
Contract period: 1 year with a 3 month probationary period

A typical day might look like:
Contact HQ via slack to check in regarding development work in the afternoon, have lunch for an hour until 3pm, travel to a school/your home (included in your working hours), arrive at ~4pm and teach until 8:00pm.

Requirements
- Documented teaching experience with children
- Native English speaker
- Valid visa that permits full time work
- Located in Japan
- A reliable internet connection at your home
- Tech savvy

Strong preference given to those with
- Teaching certifications
- Design skill
- Computer literacy
